Have you got an old or unwanted pair of spectacles sitting in your home? Here's what you can do. Bring them to the Visions of Joy roadshow, at Plaza Singapura, to do a part for charity by donating for recycling. In return, receive $40 worth of KJ Optometrists vouchers and a complimentary glaucoma test. Glaucoma is an eye disease that usually affects the middle aged to elderly.
Visions of Joy is running through this September holidays, with aim to raise awareness about the importance of good eye care in schooling children. It definitely is another good opportunity to talk to our kids about early myopia prevention.
Organized in conjunction with Plaza Singapura's 40th Anniversary
celebrations, this event will also see approximately 200 children from underprivileged homes to receive free eye examinations and $24,000 worth of new spectacles. A good cause, it is!
Venue: Plaza Singapura, Main Atrium, Level 1
MRT: Dhoby Ghuat
Date: 08 to 14 Sep 2014 (Mon to Sun)
Time: 10am to 9pm
