The jar is made of borosilicate glass, which is a much safer option for food than plastic. Unlike regular glass, it's 3X more lightweight and doesn't break easily. Furthermore, borosilicate glass is safe for warm blends, whereas this should never be handled in a plastic blender as it poses a risk of toxic leaching into food. While, I may be worried about the risk of carrying something breakable out, I guess it plays to be extra safe keeping it in the Aura insulated sleeve.

Charging

Sleek and conveniently designed, it's easily charged by plugging the Aura Blender in to any phone charger or portable charger using the cable provided. You can even charge it from your laptop or in the car! It also works with regular phone chargers. The time to full charge is between 1 to 1.5 hours. It is fully charged when the light indicator stops blinking and remains white.

Convertible Feature

The Aura Blender comes with an extra bottle cap so you can replace the motor base and convert it into a lightweight drinking bottle. Easy to bring out!

Washing Instructions

Simply blend water with a drop of dish soap to clean your Aura Blender. Rinse with water, and you're ready for your next blended creation!

Always ensure that the motor base is not exposed to water. Any water damage to the electric components as a result of not following the washing instructions is not covered under warranty.

Use It! 

Here's what I tried with it - Lychee Watermelon Crush! Simply put together lychee (from can), watermelon and ice, and blend! It gives a refreshing treat which is just as good as getting from Booze. Cost savings here. 

 

With safety in mind, the Aura Blender has a built-in safety feature which ensures the blades do not function unless the jar is firmly secured to the motor base.
