Mummy Convocated!
Always in her mind, Mummy recalls how she had to rush to school for an exam on the second day upon my arrival. She didn't want to defer her exam and she wants to graduate on time. Instead of resting, she spent her hospitalized nights revising just so that she could go for the paper. Hard work paid off, she cleared all her subjects and graduated with a beautiful distinction. A dream accomplished for putting on that mortar hat - a will, a way!

Shapes Matching
These toy blocks were my first few toys. Before I could figure how to match the shapes, I would carry the bucket around and keep the shapes by opening and closing the lid. Every time Mummy walks past this toy, she wonders when will I know how to dump the shapes correctly.
Last week, I surprised her! I could match the shapes and dump them into the bucket! Daddy claimed to be the mentor of this milestone. Hmm, Mummy wonders if he should be credited.
Know how Mummy got me to do this video? She switched off the TV that I was watching halfway, only getting my show back if I were to play this game well. It's a fair trade! Instead of applauding myself at the end, I asked for the remote control to get my show back.

Fireworks
NDP and the opening ceremony of youth olympics were just days apart. I got to witness fireworks from my home. When the fireworks are over, I'll go "pop pop pop", imitating the pop of the fireworks. Yesterday and today, there were some fireworks too! Not sure what occasion it was, but it appears at about 10pm to 1030pm, which I am already in dreamland.
I would keep pointing out the window now, saying, "pop pop pop." Fireworks is a rare sight here, only on big national occasions will I get to see them. They're beautiful!Sunday, 15 August 2010

Visit to Istana
My long weekend was splendid! We visited the Istana, it opened its house for National Day. There were lots of people, Singaporeans and Non-Singaporeans. We were of the many last hour visitors. The place is huge, and we did lots of walking. It was a fun experience, I love the play area for kids!

I sure know how to pose! |

Happy National Day
I celebrated national day in school, all dressed up in red and white. And, this was what I brought home today... handmade by me! The most imperfect artwork, but perfect in Mummy's eyes. Happy Holidays!
